Our English language instructors, Nuriya Umerova and Aizhamal Yntymak kyzy, recently, in October, led two seminars focused on incorporating Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) into teaching practices. They shared knowledge and insights gained from the SEL program organized by the Young Teachers’ Union.
The first seminar, held for teachers from various schools, explored SEL principles and how to foster students’ social and emotional development alongside academic learning. The second seminar, aimed at IT & Business College educators, focused on applying SEL strategies in higher education to build emotional resilience and interpersonal skills.
Both events sparked valuable discussions and offered practical insights that participants can integrate into their teaching. This contributes to a more empathetic and effective learning environment.

These events were conducted successfully thanks to the dedicated support of the college administration.
