On April 20, 2024, a grandiose event took place in AIU – Open House Day 2024, which gathered more than 1,000 participants.

The Open House Day provided a unique opportunity to immerse guests in the atmosphere of the future university, get acquainted with its infrastructure, faculties and lecturers. It was an ideal moment to study the offered educational programs, which helped to make a more informed decision about the future of education.

During the first part of the event, representatives of each department shared information about the admission process, program requirements, tuition discounts offered and career prospects after graduation. Schoolchildren and their parents had the opportunity to get acquainted with the university's infrastructure and meet with current students. Future students got acquainted not only with the university, but also with the IT & Business College offering the most relevant educational programs.

Nurayim, an 11th grade student, shared her impressions:

“I'm already graduating this year, it's time to choose a profession and a life path. I came specifically to this event to learn more about the creative program “Advertising and PR”, as I have always been interested. The representatives of this program explained everything clearly to me, including the requirements. AIU always organizes events at a high level, and the Open House Day is no exception. I believe that if we have a university like Ala-Too, then you can get a high-quality education in English right here in Kyrgyzstan. I think it's worth starting here and then developing abroad, conquering the world. Thanks to Ala-Too for such an atmosphere.”

Kunduz Omorova, the teacher also noted the importance of this event for her students:

“Our school holds a career guidance lesson, where we help students choose their future profession. This event was a great opportunity for us to get to know the university. I brought 70 students from different classes. We really liked the organizational work, as well as the information process was more accessible, since the students themselves talked about everything. We want to invite the AIU representatives to our gymnasium. I would like to thank the organizers for such a wonderful event.”

Ruslan Isaev, Dean of the IT Faculty of the AIU, noted that there are a large number of people who want to enter the faculty

“During the presentation, we answered a number of frequently asked questions that are of interest to applicants. We have clarified the admission requirements, including the need to submit additional subjects to the ORT, which will increase the chance of admission. We also talked about dual degree programs, where the best students can get a diploma from two countries in 4 years of study.”

In the second part of the event, the guests took part in various games such as archery, Bumper Ball, javelin throwing, as well as enjoyed a food fair and tasted various culinary dishes from diasporas from six countries. All funds raised at the fair will be used for charitable purposes. Professional dance and music groups, as well as talented students of the AIU also performed at the event. The main guest of the concert program was the famous singer Mirbek Atabekov.

The long-awaited event was held at a high level. We thank all the guests for their active participation, the organizers, as well as everyone who helped in the preparation and holding of the event.
