World Election Day is celebrated annually on the first Thursday of February. By tradition, the CEC holds various electoral events on this day.

According to the CEC, in honor of this day, together with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), a young citizen's school was held for students of KNU named after Zh.Balasagyn, KSMU, Ala-Too International University, AGUPKR, KRSU, BSU, KSU named after I.Arabaev. On behalf of the college, a 3rd-year student of the college majoring in Economics and Accounting Alyshbayev Bekmurza Samarbekovich took part.

In the three-day program of the Young citizen school, students were told why it is important that young people are involved in the decision-making process and have the right to vote in the formulation of today's and tomorrow's policies.

In addition to knowledge about the system of government and human and civil rights, the participants were shown the work of electoral technologies that ensure transparency and reliability of elections, and a simulation of the voting day procedure was carried out.
